Yep, I worked a weekend. Eight m.f’ing hours on Saturday, too (my boss wasn’t even grateful, the broomstick wielding jerk!). And it’s only just begun, so posts will be slow again. I will do my very best, though, to keep you, my public, entertained (as much as I’m capable of, anyway).

Yay! I’ve got a brand, spanking new place in which to live. In some circles, I have what some would call an office. My office will be for blogging and sewing and obtaining good ideas and experiments. I’m still missing a lot of furniture I could use, but eff it! I’m backkkkk!

At work, which is where I usually do most of my blogging off the cuff, they’ve decided to crack down further on internet usage and have blocked darn near every damn thing. It sucks for two reasons:
1. I don’t have any more work than I did BEFORE the crack downs. Perhaps, they were thinking, oh this will get them back on task!
2. I spend more time in front of my work computer than my home computer. Thus making writing articles with links to cool stuff all the more difficult.
But I will find a way.
On a personal note, I’m exhausted and feel like I’m running in full sprint backwards. I have started up derby practice again and training on a 2:1 schedule (i.e. train two days and rest the next one).
Also, I’m moving. Hectic ish be happening right now in the land of the sovereign. I’ll do my absolute best to post as much as possible in the coming weeks. You’ll see a resurgence around the first week of January if not sooner, as I’ll be settling down into the new place.
P.S. Websense = the U.S.’s war on terror. Right, that means it’s pretty much a losing battle that never made all that much sense and junk to begin with.

I don’t know what has happened to this week. I seriously think it evaporated like water in a skillet. One minute it was there, the next it was gone.
This week I had my birthday and my first day back to roller derby after a two year hiatus.
Every. muscle. kills.
And all I can think about is going to bed early tonight because I haven’t slept nearly enough this week. In fact, I need to take a minute to go get some coffee to help prop my lids up in the open yes I’m listening position.
New posts coming soon. Hang tight.

We’ll pick up where we left off tomorrow. The last part of our four part series continues with gift ideas for your mom, dad and co-workers with no sense of humor.
Thanks for reading!

It’s November and while you’re probably looking forward to Thanksgiving –that “one day” a year you can stuff yourself and not feel guilty (I know I am! Mm, sweet potatoes!) there’s something probably just a little bit awesomer that happens here in Texas one day in November. It’s STITCH Austin, y’all!
And it’s happening this weekend. November 10 at the Austin Convention Center. There’s an after party at Mohawk (I’ve been stalking that venue out for dang near a year and I want an excuse to get my booty in there).
Right. I mean, if you haven’t already bought a plane ticket and junk and you’re not in Texas or nearby already then you probably won’t be making it, but you can check back here at this blog for your STITCH Austin recap.
